The National Portrait Gallery is to reveal a life-size portrait of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, in the British capital of London.
Claimed to be the largest painting of the Mughal empire, the picture will be displayed during an exhibition called Indian Portrait 1560-1860, which will kick off on March 12, 2010.

The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has announced the 2010 Razzie winners, recognizing the worst in film in a ceremony in Los Angeles.
American actress Sandra Bullock topped the event receiving two Razzies as the worst actress and screen couple. As she had promised, Bullock attended the ceremony in person to receive her award.

A Chinese author is planning to file a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against James Cameron over his blockbuster Avatar, claiming that the Canadian film director and producer stole ideas for the science fiction epic movie.
Zhou Shaomou claims he wrote a science fiction novel called Tale of the Blue Crows in 1997 which bears striking similarities to the plot of Cameron's film.

Egyptian archaeologists have found a massive head of Amenhotep III, a famous pharaoh ruling about 3,400 years ago.
The red granite head, about the height of a person, was excavated in the ruins of the pharaoh's mortuary temple in the southern city of Luxor.

This year's dominant winner was Kathryn Bigelow's Iraq war drama The Hurt Locker, which also won her the best director award making her the first woman to receive the award in the history of BAFTA.
Berlianle awards Iran's 'Ask the Wind'
Iranian filmmaker Batin Qobadi's Ask the Wind has won the Crystal Bear award of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival.

JK Rowling slapped with plagiarism lawsuit again
A British author's estate has sued the writer of the Harry Potter series for $1 billion citing plagiarism and alleging the author stole ideas for her books.
The lawsuit, filed in a London court by the late Adrian Jacobs' estate, claims that Rowling's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire copied substantial parts of Jacobs' 1987 book The Adventures of Willy the Wizard - No. 1 Livid Land. The author's estate also claims several other ideas from Willy the Wizard were used in Harry Potter books. Jacobs died in London in 1997.
